@starlight-lilithRumor: Two New Game Fuel Flavors to Release in 2017
The image above has surfaced online, apparently leaking the existence of two brand-new flavors in the Mountain Dew Game Fuel line: Arctic Burst and Tropical Smash. The labels on these new flavors seem to indicate that they will promote the release of an upcoming video game (as is standard for Game Fuel flavors), with this year’s featured game being Middle-earth: Shadow of War. If this image is in-fact legitimate, these flavors would see a release around the time of Shadow of War’s release (August 22, 2017), possibly a few weeks sooner.
What is perhaps most interesting about this image is that the original red Citrus-Cherry flavor is totally absent. Game Fuel Citrus-Cherry has returned for every video game promotion in Mountain Dew’s history since debuting solo in 2007 to promote Halo 3. All Game Fuel events since then have brought Citrus-Cherry Game Fuel back to shelves alongside a totally new flavor. That would me that this year’s promotion would be the first time two new Game Fuel flavors would be released at the same time without the original flavor.

No need to be sorry! There are fandoms for all sorts of things online, and Tumblr is especially concentrated in its users blogging about their favorite shows, musicians, and yes, even soda brands! I started this DEW fanblog back in 2011 and it’s been sort of a hobby of mine to run it. You’d be amazed at how “jazzed” folks get about their favorite flavor returning after a long time, or a new promotion announced, etc.! Surely mountaindewftw is not the strangest thing you’ve seen on tumblr. Probably not even the strangest thing you’ve seen on tumblr this week!i will protect you until i die mountaindewftw
