i have a theory that if i just posted this screenshot from dreadful 2004 UPN animated show Game Over without noting that it was a screenshot from dreadful 2004 animated show Game Over that it could probably garner a fair amount of notes on unintentional aesthetic vibes alone, but instead I’ve clearly and explicitly labeled it as a screenshot from Game Over, the dreadful 2004 UPN animated show.

the Crashenburns, who are video game characters but also in a sitcom, have a boy child who is the 2004 gag “a white suburban boy who loves rap music” and he is in love with the anime character at his school and he asks her out via a really bad freestyle and she responds by singing something in Japanese while a bunch of graphics go by and I didnt get out of bed until noon today and spent most my afternoon watching Game Over on youtube

This was the family’s pet and was supposed to be a Sonic reference because its name is Turbo and he’s the edgy asshole alcoholic every single animated “adult” comedy had to have at the time.
