Most commoner bats that do not enjoy the city life, nor the farming life, choose the get right down to closest parts of nature. Living in a tree is beneficial to them: they get to be comfy with their favourite part of the world, and the rest of us will never be bothered by / bother them.

Commoners of these sorts are essentially hermits, and they usually live in such a place to focus their magic, or to practice alchemy safely with ingredients close-by.

The “house” of these commoners is usually about 2 to 3 feet in size, and is usually nest-like: a bundle of cloth and soft materials inside for insulation, and to sleep easier. Food is usually gotten by trading with local villagers or farmers, in return for the things that these commoners find. At night, some of these commoners claim they see very magical things in the deepest parts of woods, such as fireflies dancing by fairy circles, or the sky changing colours. If this is true, we cannot confirm.
