I keep seeing posts that say shoplifting hurts retail workers and others saying it doesn’t so… What is the truth

like if a manager catches someone shoplifting they can blame you for not doing anythingi know i always prayed no one shoplifted during my shiftor if they did they were rly good and didnt get caught
