to my young followers who never got told this like i didnt:

you DO NOT need to break up with your partner the moment you feel something for someone else. you need to be HONEST about it, say so upfront and respect if it makes them uncomfortable, but you are not evil for having those feelings. you do not need to punish yourself for having those feelings. 

as long as you do not act on them without permission from your current partner and full disclosure of the situation, you are not a bad person. 

don’t dump people if you still love them/your relationship is still healthy and enjoyable for you. you do not need to punish yourself for your heart being capable of more than one love.

This also applies if you ever have weird occasional feelings of like, “I don’t feel anything romantic at the moment. Oh shit, does that mean I don’t have feelings for my partner anymore???” That’s normal. You can’t be 100% into your partner 100% of the time. If that’s worrying you, be up front and honest about your partner and explain how you feel. You probably just need space to hang out with your friends or by yourself more often. You’re not mean, or bad, or cold-hearted, or broken.
