uhvatarkorra asked: this is prolly a stupid question, but is there a lot of abbreviation in slangy-spanish like in english? by that, I mean like how people use "bc" "prolly" "p" etc. I'm learning spanish now in school and it's all proper haha
ya! its p common to see those in informal written speech tbh hahah
some examples:
- dsd - desde (from or since)
- xq - porque (because)
- xfa - porfa from ‘por favor’ (please)
- tqm/tkm - te quiero mucho (ily)
- cdt - cuidate (take care)
- bn - bien (’good’, ‘well’ or even ‘so’ as an intensifier depending on context)
- x siaca - por si acaso (just in case)
- ps - pues (’well’ kinda)
- mñn - mañana (tomorrow)
