The unicane (also known regionally as the candycorne) is rare, showing itself on the coldest of days when the ground cracks with ice and the air strains to dust with snow.
When presented a cup of cocoa placed low to the ground (for ease of access for the tiny creature), it may dip its head to bless the hot drink with a swirl of its peppermint horn.
