Trailer: Pan: Okay, so in the shadow of the Jurassic World trailer, this first look at the dark/edgy Peter Pan reboot doesn’t exactly sell us on the film. Of course, Hugh Jackman chewing miles of scenery whilst looking like like Nosferatu with a goatee for two hours would be a cinematic blessing, but alas there are other elements to the film, from Garrett Hedlund as the young Captain Hook filling the handsome slab of meat role, to Rooney Mara looking like she’d rather be anywhere else than in front of a camera as a white Tiger Lily. Of course, it was never going to live up to Hook (still the pinnacle of Pan adaptations, no matter what anyone says), but as it stands - admittedly on the back of one solitary trailer - Pan looks like a rather large turkey in the 2015 schedule.

Wow they really just…. Decided to handle the whole racist portrayal of native peoples thing by. Making all the native people white. Either that or they had their little hearts set on an all-white cast. Incredible
