Hi, migraine anon again. Sorry to hear the light situation is complicated. I am likewise extremely photosensitive and I hope your migraines improve!
I got myself a pair of FL-41 glasses and on days that are very bad for me I find those help with the general eye strain even better than my sunglasses do when indoors.
But you are definitely not alone or a freak!
Sincerely,
Not a vampire
I had never heard of fl-41 glasses before!! I’ve been wearing my sunglasses inside for years and my neurologist never said anything about it. I have an eye doctor appointment coming up so I think I’ll order some once I get my new prescription 💕 the fact that they’re pink is also very nice. thank you so much!

If you ask at work for a reasonable accommodation for a condition with light sensitivity (if you’ve got an hr), fluorescent covers or dimmers are very easy options for employers and are not at all expensive, so very easy to acquire and everyone wins. I hate fluorescents so much and I’m sorry you’re dealing with them.

Best of luck and I hope you may return to the glorious dark of no discomfort soon.
Ty so much!!!!! I’m not sure I’ll be able to make any changes to the lights at my workplace (it’s complicated lol) but it’s nice to be reminded that I’m not the only person with this problem 🥲 I feel like such a freak sometimes!
