the ashy thrush is a ground-dwelling bird endemic to the philippines. sexes’ markings are the same, with grey & white as base colors decorated with black markings. as ground foragers, they feed primarily on earthworms and some other insects. they live primarily in rainforest habitat, and are threatened by habitat loss.
