Haven’t had a good mouse share in a while. Let’s start with Smores. He’s a chocolate based roan pied. He might be a Charlie (an animal with two copies of the banded gene producing a high white) or he might just be a very pale roan, hard to tell with this lad. He’s going to be replacing his father Mosaic as a breeder. Mosaic is moving to retirement (He’s very old for a mouse!) I’m happy to have such a nice one of his sons to step up.
Next I have this adorable female who will be paired to Smores soon. She’s a black merle, I call her Shirts because she looks like she’s wearing a black shirt.
Then we have this really cool black variegated female who looks like an Oreo blizzard. She’s a bit skittish for my taste so if she ends up a breeder I’ll have to pair her to a rock solid male. She’s pretty though and will make a fine pet either way.
Last I have this tricolor buck. My line of tricolor almost died out when I lost my male, Horse, and his replacement wasn’t able to reproduce. I swapped in a younger male, a black and tan named Blackjack, and this is one of his sons.
This male is a little small and not as typey as I would like but I am holding him back for now because he’s as mellow as a sugar cookie.
