i actually dont care whether or not the characters in a story being non-human actually affects the plot in any meaningful way. stories with non-human characters are just dope and swag

I am reading through my manuscript out loud to check for any errors or awkward phrasing missed by my editors— necessary, I caught several instances where a Dr. was referred to as a Mr.— i am suffering greatly, i feel like i have read this so many times i have worn it down to a nub— i laugh out out loud at my own joke— everything is well again, i must persevere…
