this makes me sad because

the first few acts of homestuck are amazing?? there’s just a lot of weird, subtle, dumb humor and this sense of slowly building momentum

my boyfriend and one of my best friends both read up through the beginning of act five but lost interest when all the trolls were being introduced. probably because unlike me they have other things going on in their lives and don’t care enough to keep track of the antics of 12 kind of annoying aliens.

anyways, i don’t think homestuck gets “better.” i think it just gets bigger. which i totally love but in the inimitable words of my boyfriend, “I liked it when it was just that kid messing around in his room.”
