America has to end the obsession with overcompensating CEOs while grinding the working classes into submission.

Worker productivity has increased while wages have stagnated. Its time for workers to get paid for those efficiencies, not just the CEOs.

Fun fact?  A group of economists actually ran the numbers, and in order for McDonald’s to pay their employees 15 dollars an hour, they would have to raise the price of some of the their sandwiches by….

A nickel.

What if colleges only made you pay the percentage of tuition that you failed, so if you got an average of 86 for the year you’d only have to pay 14% of the tuition, but if you got a 94 then it’d only be 6%. That way we’d be rewarding the success and even if you flunked the semester, you still wouldn’t have to pay for ALL of the tuition

You are the future.

is hope not. you get one test answer wrong and whoops there goes $500. i can’t live with that kind of pressure. i get stressed out in ice cream shops trying to choose what flavor i want

…But, and I’m going to get a little personal here, that’s the essence of life, isn’t it? Sometimes you go through things that seem huge at the time - like a mysterious glowing cloud devouring your entire community. While they’re happening they feel like the only thing that matters and you can hardly imagine that there’s a world out there that might have anything else going on. And then the glow cloud moves on, and you move on, and the event is behind you, and you may find as time passes that you remember it less and less, or absolutely not at all in my case, and you are left with nothing but a powerful wonder at the fleeting nature of even the most important things in life, and the faint but pretty smell of vanilla.
