It’s 1am so I’m sorry for the people who won’t see this. But if you want confidence and don’t know how to get it, a really good way is to be confident in other people. When you walk into Starbucks, think, “damn, that barista’s hair is da bomb!” Or when you go to school, think, “my teacher is rocking that skirt!” When you start seeing everyone as being beautiful, at some point you realize that you’re everyone too.

This is a little manga I wrote to show how a girl’s efforts to make someone hurting smile ends up revealing a similar compassion from the very boy she was trying to comfort. It shows how a little kindness can sometimes seem pointless but it can be contagious and turn around to help the person giving it more than the one receiving it.

Doodled a Twilight. I’ve been rewatching all the episodes while working on Elsa.
Thinking of putting together a sort of “pony zine” with all the art/sketches I’ve done that’s related to ponies for BronyCon. Wondering if there would be much interest…would be a con exclusive for sure!
Dr. Gary Greenberg takes ordinary bits of sand and photographs them with a microscope. The result is unexpectedly beautiful. Dr. Greenberg says of the project, “Every time I see sand under a microscope, it’s a surprise. It’s like treasure hunting, only the treasures are very small, and they’re not very expensive.” The surprising beauty of grains of sand is a reminder that perspective can affect our whole understanding of something and that we may not always have the full picture until we look closer.
