Dreamcoloured’s first Give Away! :D

I’ve been on Tumblr for about half a year now and a lot of stuff has been piling up at home that I see and think “maybe someone on Tumblr would want it” and now is the time to give some of that stuff away!

One lucky winner will win:

• My little pony jacket - brand new and still with tags on.
• Ariel sweater - brand new and still in package. I accidentally bought two so I’m giving the extra away
• Pink plastic bead necklace - this one I picked up at a charity shop
• Disney hair clips - cute hair clips with Marie from Aristocats on
• Small my little pony bag - second hand and a bit worn, but still super cute
• A bag of crystal stones - the shapes and colours are random. These are the kind I use for my make up, but you can off course use them to decorate stuff and so on

According to new FBI statistics released this week, violent crime rates in the US fell over 4% in the past year alone, bringing the amount of violent crimes lower than it has been in nearly 40 years. The statistics showed that there were an estimated 1.16 million violent crimes in the year of 2013, which is the lowest number since 1978, when 1.09 million were recorded.

Broken down, the report revealed that manslaughter dropped by 4.4% to 14,196, the lowest rate since 1968, while instances of rape were down 6.3%. Despite the tough economic times, robbery is also down by 2.8% and property crimes were down by 4.1%.
The violent crime rate has been steadily declining since 1994, but the prison population has continued to increase over the decades. There are currently over two and a half million people imprisoned in the US, which is by far the largest prison population in the world.

While Americans are less violent, police murders are at it’s highest in 20 years. 

According to an FBI report, police commited 461 ‘justified murders’ last year alone.

The report doesn’t account for non-felony suspects or murders that have not been considered ‘justified’, meaning the number of actual police murders is MUCH higher.
