I know that America is a terrible country with a terrible history whose government, military, and police force continue to do terrible things every day but… It’s my home, you know? It’s easy when you’re in your home country to be like Fuck this place but when you’re gone for a long time it’s different. I miss east coast US geography and plants and smells and people. I miss hearing the English language. I swear to god as soon as I step out of the airport I am getting on my knees and kissing that sweet and terrible American soil.
