“R*tarded” is not used as medical terminology specifically because the word has become a slur.
Nobody in the field, except for very old people (people who’ve been working in the field since the 1970′s/80′s and have yet to update their terminology) uses it anymore.
So don’t give me that “it’s a medical term” bullshit. It’s a slur and you’re using it as a way to ostracize and other dd/id individuals.

In the 1984 case Tennessee v. Garner, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 that killing an unarmed fleeing felon (and even SUSPECTED felon) is unconstitutional.
This ruling has not been overturned and is still valid and standing today!

After the rugby team was recorded singing a song about raping dead whores, prompting FUC members to report the incident to the school administration, the threats got even worse.
Then, on April 17th, Grace Mann was murdered by her roommate, a former rugby player.

I cannot stress how amazing and brilliant Grace was. I, and MANY others, were deeply impacted by her as an advocate for victims of sexual violence and LGBT+ people. I know people say this a lot about others, but Grace was genuinely someone who was making the world a better place. I cannot put into words how badly she is missed or how horrific her passing was. Please do not write off online threats and harassment. Please do not underestimate the violence of misogyny. It took a beautiful person from this world. (I would like to note that, as of now, no motivation has been made public but let’s not kid ourselves.)
