I work at a popular coffee shop in Oakland, and coming home to all these glorious photos of Black folks after dealing with especially vulgar white gentrifiers for six hours reminded me of how powerful, beautiful, and resilient we are no matter what we face. FRIENDS WHO TAKE ANTIDEPRESSANTS:
Just so you guys know, mucinex interacts INCREDIBLY poorly with most antidepressants, especially Zoloft. It not only almost completely negates the effects of your antidepressant, it also has terrible effects on your body. (Frank wouldn’t even let me read all of them because he thought it would just scare me more, but he said do not take them together again)

Sudafed seems to have fewer negative interactions with physiatrics, but it’s still a good idea to check.

It’s not just mucinex, but any cough medicine containing the active ingredients Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide (Hbr) or Dextromethorphan Polistirex will interact poorly with any SSRI antidepressants, and at higher doses run the risk of causing serotonin syndrome, which is by far one of the shittiest conditions out there. Stay safe and always Google your shit before mixing medicines
