As I was walking past my coworker’s station, I noticed she was wearing a rust-colored sweater with tigers on it, so I said “Kitty cat sweater five!” And put my hand up to mime a high five, although my path did not take me close enough to her to actually touch palms. In any event, she didn’t mirror my gesture, but I noticed she did smile bc she was wearing one of those masks with a window on the front. Every day I learn more about how humans behave and someday I hope they will accept me as one of their own
