ms l on escaping manhood
Ms L read lately that “a man needs to feel like a man.” What else does he feels like? A three-toed sloth?
As Ms L’s womanhood is firmly attached, she wonders how it is men seem to lose theirs, as though it wanders off in a huff if it doesn’t get enough attention.
This shlubby middle aged guy came in to pick up his order after closing, apologizing profusely (even though it wasn’t a big deal bc we were all still there finishing up delivery orders etc) and then after he paid with a credit card, ignoring the credit card tip option, he made sure I was looking while he put $20 in the tip jar
Anyways tldr did i get finsubbed??

if you’re closeted this holiday season, just think about how one day you and your girlfriend/wife, your husband/boyfriend, or your significant other are going to celebrate the holidays together… you’re gonna drink hot coco and look at lights… have family dinners and kiss on new years… you will love and be loved for who you are and being closeted for your own safety/comfort right now won’t change that. happy holidays :)

me when somebody calls me cute: “Something becomes cute not necessarily because of a quality it has but because of a quality it lacks, a certain neediness and inability to stand alone, as if it were an indigent starveling, lonely and rejected because of a hideousness we find more touching than unsightly” (Harris 4).
