you can instantly make a cool female character if you just take any stereotypically masculine character type and make him a butch lady. easiest trick in the book. you can try this at home
im not talking even about broad scale archetypes like Action Hero. those are cool don’t get me wrong but if you take more specific stock characters such as “cartoonish mob boss” or “gentleman detective” or “elderly mad scientist” then you have an instant hit on your hands. lesbians WILL love you forever and you WILL be the most interesting person around

A church, an abandoned grocery store, two chairs, and a bunch of old barns. The church is my favorite subject from my recent trip. It has no driveway, no parking lot, no accomodations for modern travel. Which means that it’s old enough that it was meant for local people to travel to exclusively on foot (there aren’t even hitching posts for horses like I’ve seen at Mennonite churches). It’s just a church in a field with three outhouses. Behold Solomon’s Chapel U.B. Church, Warner’s Grocery, some whimsically painted chairs, and a very color-coordinated farm.

me and my boyfriend started dating in high school and i was in a bad place mental health wise and both of use were really bad at communicating properly so a lot of boundaries weren't clear and we weren't doing very well as a couple because of those problems even though we loved each other. I was really worried we were going to break up but we didnt, and were still dating today. the thing that saved our relationship was reading Of Mice and Men in english and kinning characters (George and Slim)(theyre pretty gay) from it and starting to have kinnie sex and we are currently doing great years later! would jokingly recommend for anyone with similar relationship struggles. were more normal now though
