Bug night mollusks: Leopard slug Limax maxima, and a snail I thought was a grove snail at first but now I’m not sure.
They come in leopard?!
Isn’t it magnificent? It’s a European gastropod (they just call it the garden slug) that has become the most common slug in Boston. They get to be 4 inches long stretched out. You should probably watch the Attenborough narrated clip of their courtship ritual. (can not be oversold)
If you live near Boston that probably is a grove snail! They’re really common there for some reason
