Hi there! Do you have any clue who this lil dude is? I’m in Fort Collins, Colorado and I’ve been trying to identify him but I can’t find another one that looks like him anywhere.

I sure doooooooooooo it’s a leafy spurge hawkmoth caterpillar. Their coloring can vary pretty widely from individual to individual and from instar to instar. The adults are very lovely as well! Check out this dude:

some greens to spice up this grey day!! a lovely pandorus sphinx moth and a red legged buprestis beetle from last year πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

Oh these are very nice bugs. Sphinxes are a favorite, especially the green ones. And that beetle!!! Large and shiny. What a delight. I highly recommend people google buprestis beetles and just look at how pretty they are. Thanks for sharing!
