Day 5 of quarantine and i fell asleep on my glasses and bent the frame beyond my ability to repair… i feel like that twilight episode where the old man is the last guy on earth and he’s like finally enough time to read :) and then his glasses fall off and shatter. Except i have like 5 other pairs of glasses but these are my only normal looking sunglasses that i wear everyday bc of my light sensitivity
wild to think about the fact that, right now, as you read this, there’s a fandom server on discord having drama the likes of which we could not even fathom
So in Minnesota there’s this cultural taboo about taking the last piece. If there’s a group and everyone orders pizza, typically one slice will not be eaten. At the office if someone brings donuts, the last donut will be left alone. Possibly cut in half. Then that half cut in half, but always leaving at least a little on the plate. The reason is it’s considered impolite because someone else might want it. To take the last piece is a desperate thing to do. There’s even an expression: “I wasn’t raised by wolves.” Anyway, here’s the best local facebook post going around right now.
It’s My Little Monday! With…HQG1C Rainbow Beats! She has her friend Keeper Kitty with her too. She’s the latest from HQG1C customs, and is in a new pose. She looks as if she’s prancing along with her head held high, but not looking upward like the original pose. This lets kitty sit on her back to go for a ride. What’s really neat is just how well the pose works. It’s obviously someone elses’ head on Mimic’s pose for the body but it looks so natural, so fitting. It also doesn’t really yield a ‘non display side’ very much (unlike say, shy/turn head pose) which is nice as well. That it is fresh and active, with her stepping lets it show off the mane no-matter the style. So far quarantine is like. My dad repeatedly pressing our famcy new digital thermometer to my head and getting error message beeps while i microwave a quesadilla with a face mask on. I have the face mask on not the quesadilla & im fantasizing about the outfit im gonna wear with my mask to the grocery store tomorrow
Oh and i saw the first tremors movie twice. Hurt my mouth with cannabis extract that i thought was in oil but turned out to be in ethanol. Crocheted a cardigan for my weird rat doll. Went for a walk with my gf and lay down in a field and listened to birds singing. Organized one (1) shelf. Completely reverted to my natural sleep cycle of 3am-1pm
