The Vent Haven Museum in Kentucky is home to nearly 1,000 dummies once brought to life by ventriloquists. It is the only museum in the world dedicated to ventriloquists.
Vent Haven was originally just one man’s personal collection. William Shakespeare (W.S.) Berger, the founder (top picture) of this museum started this museum with a personal collection of 500 dummies.

Today’s snail is a slug! A pancake slug to be exact. These slugs are definitely my favorite so far. Pancake slugs are native to Jamaica, but have been introduced to other tropical countries. They can be up to 12 cm fully extended. They are known as agricultural pest, and will eat almost any plant. But be careful when picking them up, because like other snails and slugs, they can carry roundworm (I will make a post about this).
