Stole a cookie from the troops but it was white chocolate macadamia (the worst cookie) so I’m still an American Patriot

A 5 foot wide metal drawer containing at least a hundred pounds of shells and rocks just fell on me and all i got was a massive bruise on my thigh…. Imagine what would have happened if I’d gone for the oatmeal raisin

In Chinese state art of the 60s, a common theme was space exploration, with kids in rocketships and spacesuits waving hello Chinese mythological beings said to live in space, like the Moon Goddess Chang’e and the Rabbit on the Moon. The purpose of the posters was to show scientific advancement and progress, but also continuity with traditional culture and civilization as well, hence the presence of mythological beings.

When China eventually did land a lunar exploratory rover, it was known as the Yu Tu, or Jade Rabbit, after the legendary moon rabbit. So these posters came true, in a sense.

It had a working radio (β€œworking” is putting it strongly. I did have to do some rewiring), but I wanted to make the cassette player part a reality and also redo the interior. So I did:

I pronounce it Massa-tu-sits, but was informed today that Massa-tu-siss is apparently the standard, so now I need to know.

im so fucking obsessed with this genre of poll where op is blissfully unaware of what the actual most popular answer would be and leaves tumblr in absolute shambles
