Personally I think mysteries/psychological thrillers with supernatural plot elements that show up after the first act should have a little ghost or something on the cover to indicate that this book takes place in a universe where magic is real. So i can take that into my calculations and not get annoyed when they show up

#idk if im abnormal but i do love thrillers and mysteries and part of the fun is trying to get ahead of the narrator and solve the mystery#and im FINE with supernatural plot elements like i love fantasy magic etc as well#BUT there’s something so deeply annoying about getting halfway through a book that you think is a normal psychological thriller only to find#out that ghosts are definitely real and involved. i need a heads up#maybe people who think ghosts are real in real life feel differently
lollll dude have you seriously not realized that all things are delicately interconnected yet? at your age?
