The journey of a blue marble

The I Spy live action adaption looks great

This is pretty cool compared to many rube goldbergs for reasons including:

- the amount of YEET

- Clever use of magnets and physics

- Re-use of sections that play multiple purposes or have reentrancy.

The New Orleans townhouse that dreams are made of.

This beauty was built in 1831 and is restored, but a lot of the original features were retained. The brick walls, beamed ceilings, transoms, French doors, and wood floors are all here.ย

image

And, so are the wonderful door knobs, locks & keys.

image
image

The entrance is at the back, in the courtyard, and there are 4 floors, accessed either by stairs or elevator.

image

The elevator is accessed from the rear terrace outside, too.

image
image
image

There are 2 kitchens- one on the 1st fl. and one on the 3rd, so you only have 1 flight of stairs, no matter where you are in the house, when you want a snack.

Lovely butlerโ€™s pantry.

image

Lovely wood-paneled dining room with fireplace.

image

Pretty powder room for guests.

image

All balconies face the street and are large enough for tables and chairs.

image

Every bedroom is so large, theyโ€™re like studio apts. Each one has a fireplace and room for a table & chairs and seating.

image

Each bedroom also has its own bath.

image

Beautiful walk-in closet/dresing room.

image

This one is very cozy.ย

image

This one has a row of skylights going up the ceiling.

image

The courtyard is narrow, but thereโ€™s room to park a scooter.

image

Also in the courtyard is a spool- itโ€™s a small pool feature when there isnโ€™t room for a regular pool.ย
